Having one or missing teeth is not an issue that you need to live with for the rest of your life. Dentures are a great option to replace your teeth. Our experienced team can fit you with high-quality traditional dentures which will give you a reason to smile again.

How much do dentures cost?

We are committed to giving all of our patients access to affordable dental care when they need it. We understand the importance of a full, healthy smile, so do all we can to keep the cost of dentures as low as we can.

At Middletown Smile Center, we accept insurance and also have financing options available to those that require it. Ask us about both options today when you call us to make an appointment.

What are traditional dentures?

Traditional dentures are the most common type of dentures used for people with missing teeth. When you get dentures, you will be getting a natural-looking, artificial set of teeth and gums which are removable. Your custom-made dentures will be comfortable to wear, perfectly fitting your mouth and allowing you to eat, smile and laugh confidently once again.

Am I a candidate for dentures?

Do you have one or more missing teeth? If so, then you may be a candidate for traditional dentures here at Middletown Smile Center. When you visit us for your initial consultation, our dentist will examine your mouth and discuss your needs with you to help decide if you are a candidate for full or partial dentures. Call us today to book your appointment.

What is the difference between full and partial dentures?

Depending on the kind of tooth loss that you have experienced, you will be offered either full or partial dentures. Both options are custom-made to fit and leave you with a set of teeth that look and function like natural teeth.

Full dentures are a complete set of dentures. This means that they replace all of the teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. If you are missing all of your teeth, two sets of full dentures will be offered to you.

Partial dentures are used to replace either one or a few missing teeth. They are secured in place by being anchored to the surrounding teeth, but can still be easily removed for cleaning and daily care.

How do I care for my dentures?

Caring for your new dentures is easy. Our dentist will discuss maintenance with you in detail before you head home.

Your traditional dentures are easily removed, making it easy to clean your dentures. You should be cleaning your dentures every day with a special denture cleaner and a soft toothbrush. Just as with natural teeth, brushing removes bacteria and plaque which can cause oral health issues.

While you are sleeping, keep your dentures submerged in a glass of water. While your dentures are out of your mouth, your gums will have time to relax, and it helps to prevent your dentures from being damaged while you sleep.
