Dr. Mark Phillips Dr. Phillips grew up on a farm outside of Hillsboro, about an hour east of Middletown. He attended Hillsboro High School, where he graduated in 1985. He then attended the Ohio State University, and in the fall of 1988, was accepted into their dental school. Dr. Phillips graduated from Ohio State's Dental school in 1992 and moved to Middletown to be close to his future wife, Jamey. They now have 2 children Kaitlyn and Connor. In the spring of 2000, with the help of friends, family and patients, he was able to build a new office. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American and Ohio Dental Association. He is a past President of the Middletown Dentist Study Club, and a past board member of Middletown Habitat for Humanity. Dr. Phillips enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is committed to helping patients keep their beautiful smile for a lifetime. Dr. Phillips has chosen to provide dental care in a setting that is slower paced compared to many dental offices today. He has found that every patient's wants and needs are different, and getting to know the patient is the best way to address their needs. Dr. Phillips feels it is up to each patient to decide the type of care that is important to them. He will provide them a treatment plan as if they were a member of his family and then let the patient decide. He has told many of his patients "It is your mouth and you have to be the one satisfied with the decision you make. We will tell you what we think is best, but ultimately the decision is yours."
